1. What Keldoris is
Keldoris is a home-automation system that watches local weather conditions and automatically closes compatible motorized shutters and window coverings, warns people first, and reports what it did. "System" means the Keldoris hardware, software, and any hosted services. "You" means the owner or user of the System.
2. Best-effort automation — not a life-safety device
The System is a convenience and property-care tool provided on a best-effort basis. It is not designed, intended, or certified as a security, life-safety, fail-safe, or emergency device. Do not rely on it for personal safety, injury prevention, or any situation where a failure to operate could cause injury, loss, or damage. It does not guarantee that any shutter will close, close in time, or fully seal.
3. It can't always confirm closure
The System controls shutters through a one-way link and often cannot confirm that a shutter physically moved or sealed. When it cannot confirm, it tells you to verify by eye. You agree to verify rather than assume.
4. Dependencies
The System requires working electrical power, internet connectivity, live third-party weather data, and properly functioning shutters, motors, controllers, sensors, and bridges. Any of these failing — including power or internet loss during a storm — may prevent the System from operating. Motorized shutters cannot operate without power.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for: keeping the System powered and connected; verifying shutter closure by eye; preparing for named or forecasted storms yourself and not relying on the System for them; maintaining your shutters and motors; and following official emergency guidance. The System supplements, and does not replace, your own storm preparations.
6. Third-party components
The System works with third-party products, including the Bond® Bridge and your shutters and motors. Those products are governed by their own manufacturers' terms and warranties. Keldoris does not warrant third-party products and is not responsible for their failures. Bond, Bond Bridge, and Bond Bridge Pro are trademarks of Olibra, LLC; Keldoris is an independent product and is not manufactured by or affiliated with Olibra.
7. No warranties
Except where the law does not allow it, the System is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and specifically any fitness for security, life-safety, or property-protection use.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keldoris LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or property damages arising from the System or from any failure of a shutter to close or seal. Keldoris LLC's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the System. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
9. Assumption of risk & indemnity
You accept the risks of relying on best-effort automation and agree not to use the System as a life-safety device. You will hold Keldoris LLC harmless from claims arising out of your use of the System in a way these terms don't permit.
10. Privacy
Keldoris does not use cameras or video and does not know anything about the inside of your home — only your shutter positions and local weather. For details on what weather, location, and system data is collected and how it is used, see our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes; governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Acceptance
By installing, activating, or using the System, you agree to these terms.
