It's 3 p.m., a storm no one forecast is minutes away, and the house is empty — everyone's at work and school, and the shutters are open. Motorized shutters only help when someone's there to close them. Keldoris watches the weather right at the property and closes them on its own — warning everyone home first, then telling you exactly what it did.
Best-effort automation — a helpful everyday guardian, not a life-safety device and not a substitute for your own storm prep. It always reminds you to verify by eye. See the limits ›
Motorized shutters are only as good as the person who remembers to close them. Keldoris is the piece that watches the weather and acts on its own, whether or not anyone's there.
Reads the wind and rain right at your home, minute by minute — not a forecast from a distant airport.
A 30-second spoken countdown, a phone alert, and the porch lights flash before anything moves. Anyone can tap HOLD.
The shutters close on their own — no app, no scramble — even when you're away from home.
A clear message of exactly what it did, with a reminder to give the shutters a quick look. Honest, every time.
The live product tour with real screens, or the guided how-it-works.
The real app — tap the controls. Weather and activity are real captured data; no real shutter moves here.
Other "smart" shutters give you an app button you still have to press. Keldoris watches the weather and acts automatically.
It's built to react to the fast pop-up storm a regional forecast can miss — and closes even when no one's home to notice.
A clear warning comes first, and one tap on HOLD cancels the close — it won't shut on someone standing in a doorway.
A physical button by the door closes everything with a single press — no phone, no app. Simple enough for anyone in the house.
For a named hurricane, you close up early yourself with one tap. Keldoris is the everyday guardian — for the storms you don't see coming.
Straight answers — including the honest limits. If yours isn't here, ask your installer.
Motorized shutters of any brand need electricity to move, so the goal is to have them already closed before power can drop. Keldoris watches your local weather and starts closing as a storm moves in, typically while power is still on. Once a shutter is closed it stays closed without power. What no motorized shutter can do is move after the power is already out — which is exactly why closing early matters, and why you keep a manual way to operate them.
The Keldoris box lives in your home and runs on your local network, so your shutters, the storm hold, and the spoken safety warnings keep working over your home WiFi even if your internet goes down. The one part that reaches outside is the weather feed it uses to decide when to act — and a weather sensor at your home keeps that part local too.
Keldoris works with most motorized roll shutters. It's the motor that matters, not the brand name on the shutter, and common motors like Somfy and Gaposa are covered, among others. If your shutters have a motor and a remote, there's a good chance it works — and your installer confirms it on your exact setup before anything goes live.
There are no cameras and no video — Keldoris only knows your shutter positions and the local weather, nothing about the inside of your home. Everything runs on the box in your house, not in a public cloud account. If you want to check on your shutters from your phone, that access is yours; your installer's support access is separate and limited, and one home's system is walled off from every other.
Keldoris doesn't quietly assume everything worked. It sends the close command, sends it again to be sure, and warns you out loud before a shade moves. It watches for trouble and tells you if a shade looks unresponsive so you can check it by eye — because no wireless shutter system can physically confirm a shade sealed shut. Before a hurricane, you always do a final look yourself.
Your installer. They put it in, they know your setup, and they're your first call — backed by Keldoris behind them.
