1. Who we are
Keldoris LLC ("Keldoris," "we," "us") provides a home-automation system that watches local weather and automatically closes compatible motorized shutters. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. It is a starting version and may be updated as the product develops.
2. What we collect
- Account & installation details — your name, property address, and contact information (email, phone), usually provided through your installer when the system is set up. Your address is used in part to select the local weather source for your home.
- System & shutter data — the open/closed status of your shutters, the commands the system sends, and device health, error, and diagnostic information used to keep the system running.
- Weather data — local weather conditions for your location. Depending on your setup, this may come from a weather sensor at your property and/or from third-party weather networks, which have their own privacy terms.
- Connection data — technical information needed to let you reach your system from your phone and to let your installer and Keldoris provide support and updates.
What we do not collect: there are no cameras or video, and the system does not record audio inside your home. The spoken storm warnings are announcements the system plays — it is not listening to or recording your home.
3. How we use it
- To run the automation — decide when to warn and close, and report what it did.
- To warn and notify the people at the home and, where set up, your phone.
- To support the system, including proactive health monitoring that can alert your installer to a problem before you notice it.
- To deliver updates and improve the product.
- To contact you or your installer about your system.
4. Who we share it with
- Your installer / dealer — because they installed your system and are your first point of support, they can receive system status and health alerts to help you.
- Service providers that make the system work — for example weather-data providers, remote-access and connectivity services, and hosting and update infrastructure. Each handles data under its own terms.
- Legal and safety — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.
5. Where your data lives
The core automation runs on the Keldoris box in your home. Some information — such as device health, updates, and the connection that lets you and your installer reach the system remotely — passes through secure online services. Remote access is authenticated, and we limit who can reach your system to you and your authorized installer and support.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and system information for as long as your system is in service, and keep diagnostic and activity logs for a limited period to support tuning, troubleshooting, and safety review. [Specify retention periods once finalized.]
7. Your choices
You can ask us or your installer what information is associated with your system, request a copy or deletion where applicable, and control remote access to your system. To make a request, email us or ask your installer.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including local-first operation and authenticated remote access. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access and protect your data.
9. Children
Keldoris is a home product intended for adults and is not directed to children.
10. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Questions? Email us. See also our Terms of Use.
